ProcuraGY collects the procurement notices Guyana’s public bodies publish online. This page lists every source we collect from and when we last checked it, what we used to collect, what comes next — and the procurement no website can list in advance, with the reason for each gap.

    The tender board’s old opportunities page. Nothing new has appeared there since February 2026 and the NPTA now points to eProcure, so we stopped checking it on 24 Sep 2026. Its tenders stay on the site as history.

  • Newspaper adverts — Guyana Chronicle and Kaieteur News

    Waiting on the publishers

    The online editions we found are hosted on Issuu, whose terms forbid automated reading, so we will only process editions the publishers send us directly.

  • Development-bank portals — CDB, World Bank and IDB

    Planned

    Large donor-funded projects are often announced on the lender’s own portal before the local advert appears.

  • Agency websites

    Planned

    Guyana Power & Light, GuySuCo, NDIA, CH&PA, the Guyana Energy Agency, MARAD, GGMC and HECI, one site at a time.

  • Budget Estimates

    Planned

    The Ministry of Finance’s annual estimates list each agency’s capital projects — what will be bought, before any tender is advertised.

What no website can list in advance

Some public purchases never get an online notice, so no website — ours or anyone else’s — can list them before they happen.

  • Notice-board-only adverts

    Regional and neighbourhood councils, and ministries buying below the national tender board’s threshold, often advertise only on the notice boards in their offices. No website carries these notices.

  • Tenders that are never advertised

    The law lets public bodies buy without a public notice: restricted tendering, requests for quotation, single-source and community-based procurement. Some surface afterwards — the NPTA’s award list includes restricted and community-based contracts, and we collect it.
